Parental Leave

Employees eligible for FMLA can be provided with up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave each year for any of the following reasons: • For the birth and care of the newborn child of an employee; • For placement with the employee of a child for adoption or foster care; • To care for an immediate family member (i.e., spouse, child, or parent) with a serious health condition; or • To take medical leave when the employee is unable to work because of a serious health condition.

Personal Leave

All full-time and part-time employees are eligible to receive a certian number of Personal Leave (Sick Leave) days per year. If employees are ineligible for any other Company leave of absence, the Company, under certain circumstances, may grant a personal leave of absence without pay. This constitutes Leave Without Pay and Sick Leave Without Pay. For full details please refer to the USA Time Off Policy and discuss your needs with your immediate leader.

Pro-Active Self Care

All full- and part-time employees are eligible to receive a certain number of sick days per year. Sick Time can be used when the employee is physically or mentally unable to perform his or her duties due to illness, injury or a medical condition depending on the jurisdiction in which the employee works. It may also be used to care for a dependent. Sick Time is not considered Vacation Time. Paid sick leave requirements are governed by those state or local laws in which the employee works.

Employee Referral Plan

The FCTG Americas Referral Program allows employees to refer qualified candidates for open positions within the company. If the referral is successful and the candidate is hired, the referring employee will receive a $2,000 bonus as a reward for helping us find top talent.

Employee Shareplan

Flight Centre’s global employee share plan, FC Global Share (the Plan) provides Eligible Employees from around the world with the opportunity to buy Flight Centre shares (Acquired Shares) by making contributions from their after-tax salary.

Moneywise

Moneywise is a confidential, in-house, financial education and coaching service available to all FCTG USA employees at no cost or obligation.

Retirement Plan

At FCTG, you can plan for retirement with both Traditional pre-tax and after-tax ROTH 401(k) options, with contributions from all paychecks. FCTG matches 50% of the first 6% of your contributions from your retainer/base pay. You can adjust your nominated contribution any time. Eligible staff are auto-enrolled at 3%, with annual contribution limits up to $23,500 in 2025. There are also special catch-up contributions for those 50 and older. There is also a new catch-up level for those that attain age 60-63 in 2025. Partnering with Principal Financial, we make saving for your future simple and rewarding.

Jury Duty Leave

To provide income protection while an employee carries out his or her civic responsibility, the Company provides the difference between jury duty pay and an employee’s regular day’s pay for time spent serving on jury duty. Generally, income protection for time spent serving on jury duty will be provided for a maximum of five workdays and thereafter unpaid except where required otherwise by applicable state law.

Annual Leave

The Company recognizes that employees benefit from time away from work for a variety of reasons all of which contribute towards a healthy and positive work-life balance for our employees. It is important to take time away from work to rest and recharge. Therefore, the Company provides both paid and unpaid time off to eligible employees.

Bereavement / Family Leave

All full-time and part-time employees will receive up to 3 paid bereavement days per year when needed due to the death of an immediate family member defined as a parent, grandparent, sibling, spouse, registered domestic partner, child or parent in-laws or parents of a registered domestic partner.

Buzz Nights & Award Events

Each month our teams are treated to a fun night of food, drinks and entertainment where successes are rewarded and collaborative work inspired. We call these our monthly Buzz Nights.

Sabbatical Leave
