The Company supports and provides employees with various opportunities to contribute to our local communities. Annual Leave (Vacation Policy)

Employees accrue vacation days based on their length of service, with a maximum of 25 days annually.

Each month our travel consultants are treated to a fun night of food, drinks and entertainment where successes are rewarded and collaborative work inspired. We call these our monthly Buzz Nights.

Flexible Work Options

Flexible work options include job shares/pro-rata days/hybrid schedules and flexible working hours.

Parental Leave

Pregnancy and parental leave periods and employee eligibility are as set out by legislation for the province in which you work. Parental leave may be shared with your partner, and pregnancy leave can commence earlier than the expected date of birth of your child.

Personal Leave (Sick leave)

Paid sick leave is available to employees who are unable to work due to illness or medical conditions. This leave allows individuals to take time off while still receiving their regular pay, following the company's sick leave policy. Each employee receives 6 sick days percalendar year

Proactive Self Care

Pro-active leave at FCTG encourages employees to prioritize their health by scheduling preventative care appointments, like dentist visits, in advance. By using a portion of your personal leave allowance, you can stay on top of your well-being, ensuring small issues don’t become bigger challenges. See our Leave Policy for more details.

FAM Policy

Educationals are voluntary escorted product and destination familiarisations (“FAMs”) offered by preferred partners of Flight Centre Travel Group (Canada) Inc. (“Flight Centre”). They are designed to allow team members to increase their product and destination knowledge and provide an excellent opportunity to build relationships with Flight Centre’s preferred industry partners.

Global Mobility

Temporary International Remote Work is a program where employees who have achieved 1+ year of continuous service can apply to work remotely from another country for up to six (6) weeks per year, subject to business, legal, and tax approval. To request working temporarily from another country please complete the International Work Request Form and submit it to human.resources@flightcentre.ca for review.

Internal Mobility

If you're planning a move to a new state or province, you must request approval. Complete the In-Country Moving Request Form and submit it to human.resources@flightcentre.ca before finalizing your move. FCTG does not operate in all regions, and requests are reviewed per policy.

Sabbatical Leave

Sabbatical leave is an optional, unpaid opportunity available to all employees after five (5) years of continuous service with the Company. To take this leave, employees must first complete the approval process outlined in this policy.
